What is the White Ribbon Run?
830 women lose their lives because of pregnancy, child-birth and abortion every day in the world.
“WHITE RIBBON RUN (WRUN)” is the charity fun run event organized in conjunction with the International Women’s Day on March 8, to let everyone know such terrible situations and to promote everyone’s action to participate to support these women in everywhere in Japan and the world.
It is available to participate everyone who wear the same official T-shirt in everywhere and to connect with the runners in the world virtually (by uploading the pictures and videos online) in the name of WRUN. The part of the entry fee will be used to donate to support the women in developing countries.
What is the White Ribbon?
Many women die because of pregnancy and child-birth.
The White Ribbon Action has started to save the lives of these mothers and babies.
In 1999, White Ribbon Alliance (WRA) were established, and now, organizations and persons in about 150 countries in the world gather in the name of White Ribbon act to support mothers to be able to be pregnant and birth children safely.
The White Ribbon is the symbol of action for mourning women’s souls and overcoming the grieves and connect hopes tomorrow.
What is JOICFP?
JOICFP was established in 1968 for the requests to internationally transmit successful experiences and know-hows in the field of family planning and maternal and child health which Japan has practiced after the end of World War II,
JOICFP supports to improve quality of life through human resource development in the field of global health, materials and projects in Asia and Africa, collaborates with United Nations, International Organizations, local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and communities.
JOICFP was received the first Japan SDGs Special Awards and celebrated the 50 anniversary this year.

Runner: 8,000 JPY - Nationwide (Whole country) White Ribbon Based Run
Runner 3,000 JPY (13 or older), 1,500 JPY (Under 13) - Anywhere for Anyone Virtual Run: Runner: 2,800 JPY (13 or older), 1,500 JPY (Under 13)
Half of the entry fee are donated to developing countries.
Both entry fees of Osaka Women’s Venue Run and Tokyo Ariake 5km Run include participation gifts.
The original caps are supplied to volunteers.

Limited first entry first deposit. The entry is successful after deposit. There is no cancellation waiting.
Gift for Participation
‘White Ribbon Run Official T Shirt’
All of the participants are expected to run wearing ‘White Ribbon Run Event Official T Shirt’ and send the messages in unison.
Everyone who already resister the WRUN are gifted ‘White Ribbon Run Event Official T Shirt’ before the events of Osaka Women’s Venue Run/ Tokyo Ariake 5km Run with International Women’s Day Special Contents/ Registered Sites in Japan/ Anywhere, for Anyone Virtual Run.
Every participant at the Osaka Women’s Venue/ Tokyo Ariake 5km Run with International Women’s Day Special Contents/ Registered Sites in Japan will receive souvenirs on the event day.
White Ribbon Run Event Official T Shirt
The T Shirt is an event official which has good functionality and design, collaborated with ‘Under Armour’.
It is made of dry material, best for sport, designed the logos of White Ribbon Run and Under Armour’ on chest, ‘Run 4 Empowering Women!’ on back to commemorate the memory of White Ribbon and the 4th event.
Choose one size on the list of T shirt sizes (130/140/150/XS/S/M/L/XL).
The T shirt are designed as unisex. We recommend choosing one size smaller. Choose one size of T shirt in 150/XS/S/M if you participate in ‘Osaka Women’s Venue Run’.
